Technology
QVS utilizes advanced technology to facilitate the ordering, routing, and completion of valuation products. The core platform is recognized by the mortgage industry and is hosted in a SAS-70 type II audited facility. Data is secure with backup, disaster recovery and continuity procedures to ensure operations. We adhere to strict service levels regarding performance and response times.
At a high level (Fig 1.), our platform accepts orders from clients either via website or direct integration. Orders can be received on a transaction or batch basis and inserted into our order management system. The system validates each order, selects the appropriate product, and then based on automated routing rules, assigns it for fulfillment. Some products are automated, such as AVMs, and returned to our clients immediately, while other traditional products are sent to valuation professionals for fulfillment.

We provide integration options leveraging the use of components and web services. We support transport protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP and service message models including SOAP, XML or proprietary models. Our messaging style supports request and response, publish and subscribe and synchronous and asynchronous messaging. We can also utilize MISMO for the majority of message data formats. We have various connections with major platform providers.
Our order management system uses customized client profiles and cascading logic to efficiently place order transactions. Each transaction includes specific guidelines, policies and procedures and loan level instructions to insure expectations are provided to our valuation professionals. Our processors utilize various search filters and exception handling methods to maintain efficient workflow and adherence to SOWs. Our clients have access to view order status and progress through a web portal and can communicate with processors and our valuation experts to collaborate or focus on issue resolution.
Messaging
Our valuation professionals have the ability to receive and deliver products electronically. Real time messages consisting of order and status content are sent to each professional and transaction level information is accessible via a secure website. On-line forms and document management functions allow each product to be completed, uploaded and returned to QVS for processing.
Each returned product is automatically scrubbed by our quality control process which consists of GAAR (Generally accepted appraisal rules) or Client Proprietary rule sets. Additionally, depending on workflow and client guidelines, products are reviewed by valuation experts prior to delivery. Products are only delivered to our clients after passing these reviews.
The QVS technology platform is reliable, secure and flexible. Data is stored in a secure environment, it has multiple integration options, the order management platform efficiently manages transaction workflow, and products are managed and delivered electronically only after automated and manual QC.
